I've just posted up a few new small paintings in my shop!
Radiance @ 1xRun
1xRun has just released a limited edition run of prints of my painting "Radiance", which is part of a series titled Dualism that focuses on light versus dark. The prints are 16" x 24" and limited to 50, $75 each. They will be up on their website until April 7th. You can find more information at 1xRun.
New Fragments
This Friday, March 6th at 1pm (Central), I will add ten new Fragments to my shop. Fragments are small (4"x6") exploratory paintings. They are created on 1/8" thick canvas panels, $190 a piece. Alongside the originals I will have print sets containing all ten with an edition size of 250 sets, $21 per set plus shipping.
Perilous Series
I've have started a new series titled Perilous, which will be small 8" x 8" paintings that deal with overcoming fear and portray ideas that would normally be a dangerous situation turned into something that is no longer a danger. The first in this series is shown above and titled Perilous Abode. Prints are available at Prints on Wood, but only until Friday, February 20th. Pick one up here. Fine art wood print on 1/2" sustainable Birch, bright white finish. $50 each.
New Paintings and Prints
Last year was a lot of fun covering more humorous ideas and putting elements in my work that I typically don't paint, but this year I'll get back into some of the thoughts I had explored in the past. I'll post up some of the smaller paintings I did over this past month and also have prints available in my shop starting tomorrow, January 30th at 1pm (central). Most of these ideas revolve around light versus dark, or always looking for light in dark places.
There will be three prints available at $30 each (plus shipping) or all three for $75 (plus shipping). The prints will be 8x10 with 1" border, signed and numbered. Please visit the shop tomorrow for more details.
2015 Forecast
In 2013 I was exploring a theme I called Altered Animalia. It was a chance to refer to reality, which is something I was not doing much of before this. Things were mostly dreamt up and didn’t display many elements that we may recognize in the world around us. In the years prior to 2013 I was focused on a dark story which, of course, reflected in my art. Throughout the years of creating I eventually realized my art was just following my mood and in order to escape sinking further into a more murky space in my physical mood and the feel of my art I forced myself to drastically change these feelings by lightening the mood and brightening the color palette I work with. This was all of 2014. Things were intended to come across more lively and I was to begin using elements we may all recognize. Everything I have ever created, I have enjoyed it much and used it to help me grow. I tend to use the beginning of a year as a marker to recognize where I am and to see if I got to where I was trying to go. 2013 was a boost of happiness and energy - a time to help lift up all of my past art and to also inject all that I do next with those same feelings. 2015 will be filled with reflecting all the low tones of the past and finding the mood in the middle. I'll be posting progress on all paintings here so please check in frequently.

Final Set of Cryptidbits
I'm currently working on the final group of Cryptibits (No. 56-60). I typically release the art on Fridays, but I need the extra day and will put them up in my shop this Saturday (12/20). I recently made lots of changes to my website and haven't yet figured out the shipping just yet, so to keep things simple on this last group I will put them up in my Big Cartel shop. I will also have the last two Cryptidbit sets (November and December) available at the same time, so you will be able to get those last sets at the same time. I'll post more details on Friday.
